About The Position

The Leasing & Marketing Assistant's primary role is to assist in planning community events, actively participate in on- and off-campus activities, and provide service to prospective residents to achieve specific goals set by the Community Manager. This role requires an outgoing individual who will act as a quality leader for the Community Ambassadors.

Requirements

  • Must be outgoing.

  • Ability to monitor and maintain model and tour route on a daily basis.
  • Ability to assist with the maintenance of property curb appeal.
  • Ability to track and report leasing data, metrics and goals.
  • Ability to develop and execute methods to retain residents and gain new ones.
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with vendors.
  • Ability to organize and manage monthly resident events.
  • Ability to organize and manage monthly marketing events.
  • Ability to prepare for and execute housing fairs and other on campus events.
  • Ability to assist with social media campaigns.
  • Ability to ensure follow up activities take place for all prospective residents.
  • Ability to report on time to your shift.
  • Ability to ensure confidentiality of client, resident, and company information.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to Landmark Properties policies and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and professional work environment.
  • Ability to assist in roommate placement and matching.
  • Ability to understand the lease document and all related addendums and communicate relative information to prospective residents and parents.
  • Ability to participate in all move-in related activities.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively.
  • Ability to assist in maximizing revenue and occupancy.
  • Ability to assist in collecting rents, security deposits, and other income.
  • Ability to operate marketing activities within budget, deviating only with prior approval.
  • Ability to provide documentation/receipts for all company purchases.
  • Ability to co-facilitate annual Leasing Training.
  • Ability to assist in tracking Leasing Ambassador performance through lease audits.
  • Ability to understand the needs and expectations of prospective residents, clients, and vendors and exceed them.
  • Ability to develop a sense of community among prospective residents and staff.
  • Ability to maintain active and effective communication with prospective residents, parents, and university personnel.
  • Ability to represent the community and Landmark Properties in a professional manner.
  • Ability to maintain a positive community environment and encourage participation in events and activities.
  • Ability to assist future residents in mediation conflicts.
  • Ability to assist in keeping the community clean.
  • Ability to document and address behaviors of residents that violate the law or the community lease agreement.
  • Ability to identify and report safety and security risks.

  • Assist in keeping the community clean by surveying common areas regularly and reporting any concerns and / or helping to clean up when necessary.
  • Document and address behaviors of residents that violate the law or the community lease agreement.
  • Identify and report safety and security risks to the Community Manager.
