About The Position

The primary function of the Leasing & Marketing Assistant is to assist in the planning of community events, actively participate in on-and off-campus activities, and provide service to prospective residents to meet specific goals as outlined by the Community Manager. The Leasing & Marketing Assistant should be outgoing and must act as a quality leader to the Community Ambassadors. This role reports to the Community Manager and has no direct reports.

  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment
  • Assist in roommate placement and matching
  • Understand lease documents and addendums and communicate them clearly

  • Assist in collecting rents, security deposits, and other income
  • Operate marketing activities within budget, seeking approval for deviations
  • Provide documentation/receipts for company purchases
  • Co-facilitate annual Leasing Training
  • Assist in tracking Leasing Ambassador performance via lease audits
  • Understand and exceed the needs and expectations of prospective residents, clients, and vendors
  • Develop a sense of community among residents and staff
  • Maintain active and effective communication with prospective residents, parents, and university personnel
  • Represent the community and Landmark Properties professionally
  • Maintain a positive community environment and encourage participation
  • Assist residents in mediating conflicts
  • Assist in maintaining community cleanliness
  • Document and address resident behaviors that violate the law or lease agreement
  • Identify and report safety and security risks

  • Assist future residents in mediation conflicts, both proactively and reactively
  • Assist in keeping the community clean by surveying common areas regularly and reporting any concerns and / or helping to clean up when necessary
  • Document and address behaviors of residents that violate the law or the community lease agreement
  • Identify and report safety and security risks to the Community Manager

Benefits

  • Pay of $19.00 per hour depending on a variety of factors including market factors in the geographical location where the candidate lives.
