About The Position

Join Bell Partners as a Leasing Manager and be a difference maker. As a Leasing Manager, you will have primary marketing responsibilities, interface with prospective residents, handle day-to-day issues with current residents, and coordinate lease renewals with a team of Leasing Consultants, all under the supervision of the Community Manager. Your role will be crucial in maximizing property performance by ensuring the grounds and apartments are show-ready and inspecting made-ready apartments for new residents. You will also tour visitors and guests to showcase amenities, apartments, models, and the community, which may involve physical activity.

Requirements

  • Understanding of and alignment with Bell Core Values.
  • BA/BS in business, sales, or related field, relevant experience, or a combination.
  • 2+ years of experience in multi-family leasing or 2+ years of experience in B2B selling desired.
  • Ability to lead a team and successfully work on a team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong marketing skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a professional image.
  • Good decision-making skills and knowledge on how businesses work.
  • Walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as hazardous materials.
  • Must be comfortable with heights and moving heavy objects.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, manage, and provide performance feedback to employees to ensure community performance and adequate staffing.
  • Motivate associates through recognition programs, training, and team building to ensure the team meets Operations strategic drivers.
  • Train staff members on proper leasing techniques and resident service.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with maintenance and leasing staff.
  • Set property goals with General Manager.
  • Conduct regular performance appraisals and address any associate concerns or employee relations issues.
  • Maintain complete and accurate associate files and a high level of associate satisfaction.
  • Evaluate unit prices following the market and budgeted goals.
  • Manage the application review process for each lease, including credit and income verification.
  • Develop an annual marketing plan, conduct marketing reviews monthly, and conduct outside marketing activities.
  • Ensure lease packets and files for each resident include the lease, all addendums, and other proper documentation.
  • Ensure the condition of leased apartments before move-in and conduct a final walk-through with resident upon move-in.
  • Follow up with residents throughout their lease terms and coordinate the renewal process for each lease.
  • Follow Fair Housing Standards in all matters when working with prospects and residents.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
