About The Position
The Leasing Manager leads the property's leasing team and is responsible for driving occupancy, leasing performance, revenue, and an exceptional prospect and resident experience. This role coaches the leasing team, manages the sales process, and partners with the Community Manager to achieve property goals.
Requirements
- 2-3+ years of multifamily leasing, sales, hospitality, or related experience.
- Strong sales, communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing requirements.
- Ability to work weekends or adjusted schedules as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience with property management or CRM software preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily leasing activities and ensure occupancy and leasing goals are achieved.
- Coach, motivate, and hold leasing team members accountable for performance.
- Monitor leads, tours, applications, conversions, move-ins, and follow-up activity.
- Develop strategies to increase traffic, improve closing ratios, and maximize leasing opportunities.
- Conduct property tours and effectively communicate the property's features, amenities, and value.
- Maintain knowledge of market conditions, competitor pricing, and availability.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of applications, leases, and move-in documentation.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support resident retention efforts.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, company policies, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate leasing records and reporting.
- Partner with maintenance and property teams to ensure apartments are ready for move-in.
