Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One to two years of college sales/marketing studies.

Responsibilities

Show and lease apartments to prospective residents.
Assess the overall activity of the sales program.
Interview prospective tenants and record information to ascertain needs and qualifications.
Accompany prospects to model and apartment and discuss size and layout of rooms, available facilities, such as swimming pool and community center, location of shopping centers, services available, and terms of lease.
Complete lease form or agreement and collect rental deposit.
Inspect condition of premises periodically and arrange for necessary maintenance.
Prepare marketing materials, including flyers, property brochures, and website updates.
Route service requests through the work order system.
Complete administrative tasks as assigned.
Prepare and analyze information pertaining to the leasing program and report findings to management.
Comply with Fair Housing and applicable Tax Credit laws.
