The Leasing Foreman is responsible for efficiently running the daily activity on the service shop floor. They communicate many times a day with customers and technicians to build a daily workload and assign work orders to the appropriate technician. They intimately understand the technical capability of each truck technician and assign work to leverage their strengths. They often field work orders from walk-ins and requests over the phone when the service advisor is busy. The Leasing Foreman can quickly adapt to shifting priorities balancing the needs of multiple customers, sales reps and managers. They conduct daily shift huddles to communicate important information and conduct shift transfer meetings to ensure priorities and commitments from the previous shift are completed. The working foreman builds loyal clientele and employees by maintaining the highest standards. They also complete maintenance and repairs on trucks as needed. On average, the leasing foreman repairs trucks 50% to 60% of their shift and manages the shop for the rest of the shift.
