About The Position

Leasing Consultants assist the Community Leader in the management of the community. They work to minimize vacancies, promote good working resident and public relations, and assure program compliance with applicants and residents. This role involves showing available apartments, processing rental applications, managing move-ins/move-outs, and performing various clerical duties related to property management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Good communication skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to multi-task

Nice To Haves

  • Previous property management experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Showing available apartments
  • Procurement of applications
  • Inspections, move in/move outs, following established procedures
  • Placement of residents in homes that fit their needs
  • Delivery of notices
  • Other community management duties as directed by HL Community Leader
  • Process all rental applications and maintain the waitlist
  • Show and rent all vacant apartments
  • Process all transfers and move-outs
  • Receive and process all service requests
  • Input certification information
  • Prepare program compliance reports
  • Perform credit checks
  • Maintain records as required
