About The Position

Leasing Consultants assist the Community Leader in the management of the community. They work to minimize vacancies, promote good working resident and public relations, and assure program compliance with applicants and residents. This role involves showing available apartments, processing rental applications, managing move-ins/move-outs, and performing various clerical duties related to property management and resident services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Good communication skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to multi-task

Nice To Haves

  • Previous property management experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Showing available apartments
  • Processing rental applications and maintaining waitlists
  • Conducting inspections, move-ins, and move-outs following established procedures
  • Placing residents in homes that fit their needs
  • Delivering notices
  • Performing other community management duties as directed
  • Processing all transfers and move-outs
  • Receiving and processing all service requests
  • Inputting certification information
  • Preparing program compliance reports
  • Performing credit checks
  • Maintaining required records
