The Leasing Consultant is responsible for the leasing of all apartments. This includes handling prospective resident phone calls, performing miscellaneous clerical duties, and supporting office personnel. The role requires maintaining a strong customer service philosophy, understanding company and community policies, and accurately completing lease-related documents. The position also involves assisting with resident retention programs, inspecting apartments for market readiness, and staying informed about competitive communities and area facts. The consultant will greet new residents, assist with move-ins, verify application data, qualify potential residents, and show model and available apartments. Participation in community events and in-house training for Leasing Specialist certification is also expected. Travel and limited use of a personal vehicle may be required.
