About The Position

TRG Management, a premier property management company experienced with all types of housing, mid-rises, high-rises, luxury rentals, is actively seeking a Leasing Consultant for their new lease-up CMPND MIAMI in Downtown Miami, FL. This role will collaborate directly with the property management team to provide residents with great service. To earn potential tenants' commitment, it is essential to pay attention to their needs, provide solutions, and support them throughout the leasing process.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or its equivalent is preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, Conventional or multifamily real estate.
  • Strong customer service orientation and presenting abilities.
  • Working experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leasing experience is a plus, not a requirement.
  • Working as a concierge, guest services representative, front desk attendant, or reservations agent in the hotel or hospitality industry is a bonus.
  • Onesite experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Interview prospective tenants while adhering to Fair Housing Standards.
  • Accompany potential tenants to model apartments to explain size and layout, available amenities and services, and lease terms.
  • Fill out the lease form or agreement and collect the security deposit.
  • Periodically inspect the state of the property and make arrangements for essential maintenance.
  • Compile a list of available rental units.
  • Identify potential prospects.
  • Manage the leasing/renewal process from start to finish.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build great working connections with residents.
  • Answer incoming calls and voicemails professionally and promptly.
  • Request that the prospect fill out an application and make a deposit following the company's policies and Fair Housing regulations.
  • Process applications for approvals and update the availability report (e.g., credit check, rental history). Submit completed applications for approval to the Community Manager and follow up with the candidate to provide status.
  • Ascertain that the apartment is ready for the resident to move in on the scheduled move-in date.
  • Follow up with prospects who did not close and try to close the business. If unable to assist a prospect, direct them to a sister community that can satisfy their needs.
  • Monitor local market trends and update property comparables to keep an eye on competitor activities.
