About The Position

Burlington Capital Properties is seeking a full-time Leasing Consultant to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. We pride ourselves on providing a quality living experience for our residents and are seeking an enthusiastic, high-energy individual with strong customer service and resident relations skills. This position requires previous customer service experience, with prior leasing and/or sales experience preferred. The successful candidate will possess a positive, team-oriented attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service to prospective and current residents.

Requirements

Previous customer service experience required.
Minimum of two years of sales and/or leasing experience or equivalent experience preferred.
Enthusiastic, high-energy demeanor with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Excellent customer service skills, including timely follow-up.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
Ability to interact positively with residents, employees, vendors, and the general public.
Ability to follow directives and work with minimal supervision.
Basic math and computer skills required.
Ability to use computers and basic office equipment.
Valid driver's license and good driving record required.

Responsibilities

Perform activities related to apartment leasing, including providing apartment tours, qualifying prospective residents, preparing documentation, and completing move-in procedures.
Maintain positive resident relations by providing excellent customer service and participating in resident promotions and functions as required by management.
Meet with current residents regarding lease renewals and rental rates.
Represent the property and community in a positive manner while effectively communicating the benefits of the community to prospective residents.
Proactively participate as a member of the team to accomplish desired results.
Participate in staff meetings as required.
