About The Position

Lynd Management Group is seeking an enthusiastic Leasing Consultant to guide prospective residents through the leasing journey - from their first inquiry and property tour to application approval and move-in. This sales-focused position is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, achieving goals, and creating an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
One to three years of leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience.
Strong sales, persuasion, and closing skills.
Friendly, enthusiastic, and professional customer service.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage prospects, follow-up activities, appointments, and deadlines.
Familiarity with Fair Housing requirements.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Ability to use company technology, screening tools, and property management systems.
Ability to walk the property, conduct tours, and visually inspect apartments.

Nice To Haves

RealPage OneSite experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to telephone, email, internet, and in-person inquiries.
Build rapport with prospects and identify their apartment preferences and needs.
Schedule and conduct engaging property and apartment tours.
Communicate the property's features, amenities, and value.
Use professional sales and follow-up techniques to meet leasing goals.
Process applications, screening documents, leases, deposits, and move-in paperwork.
Maintain accurate guest cards and applicant and resident files.
Walk apartments before move-in to confirm they are ready.
Proactively contact residents regarding lease renewals.
Build relationships with apartment locators and other referral sources.
Complete market surveys and support marketing and outreach activities.
Receive resident maintenance requests and follow up on completed service.
Monitor the property's appearance and report safety or maintenance concerns.
