About The Position

Morguard is a fully integrated real estate company that strategically invests in high-quality, well-located, multifamily assets across North America. Their onsite teams are critical to the success of their Communities. They are seeking a high-performing Leasing Consultant with a proven sales track record who enjoys working with residents to ensure an excellent experience with their properties. This full-time opportunity is for their onsite residential team in Downtown Chicago, requiring direct residential leasing experience, preferably within the Chicagoland residential high-rise market. The role involves handling incoming calls, online and in-person traffic, coordinating and leading property tours, leasing apartments, and preparing leasing files for approval and renewals. The consultant will also collaborate with the team to develop leasing marketing strategies, participate in outreach marketing, resident events, and leasing file audits.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Direct Multi-family Industry experience (1-2 years)
• Strong administrative and organization skills
• Thorough attention to detail
• Strong computer proficiency
• An excellent attitude and willingness to learn
• A resolve to provide prompt and friendly service

Nice To Haves

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous experience in the Chicagoland high rise leasing environment is preferred
• Direct experience with Yardi or Onesite is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet all residents and prospective residents who visit or call the Leasing Office
• Stay informed on the surrounding market, community amenities, and floor plans available
• Communicate with prospective residents to schedule apartment tours, assess their rental needs, and guide them through the leasing path to view prepared model units and onsite amenities
• Perform market surveys of the surrounding market & relay to the Community Manager
• Invite all prospects to complete and sign lease documents; collect qualifying information and follow leasing protocol to prepare lease files for review and audit
• Handle incoming calls as well as online and in-person traffic
• Coordinate and lead property tours
• Lease apartments and prepare leasing files for approval and renewals
• Work with the team to develop leasing marketing strategies
• Fully participate with outreach marketing, resident events, and leasing file audits
