About The Position

Givens Gerber Park is looking for a full-time Leasing Consultant to support our affordable community. This position's primary responsibility is to maintain a professional and friendly atmosphere while conducting all business ventures.

Requirements

• HUD/Tax Credit/Affordable Housing Certifications preferred
• Fair Housing and Section 504/ADA certification desired, or willing to obtain once hired
• Word Processing software experience required.
• Spreadsheet software, property management software, Internet experience desirable
• Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks/responsibilities and working under pressure to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming phone calls and handles each call accordingly, whether it is a prospect call, irate resident, service request, etc.
• Greets prospective residents, qualifies, determines needs and preferences, professionally, presents community and specific apartments while communicating features and benefits
• Prepares and qualifies applicants for Compliance approval
• Assists in developing market strategies and markets property as directed
• Correctly completes all lease applications, assists with application verification and notifies prospective residents of results
• Maintains and monitors affordable waiting lists according to policy
• Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor
