About The Position

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for advertising and promoting the property, utilizing industry-specific software for lead management, providing tours to prospective and current residents, and completing the full cycle lease process. This role also ensures compliance with renter's insurance and maintains resident occupancy of 95%. Additionally, the Leasing Consultant is responsible for the timely collection of rent and other ancillary revenue, engaging with tenants professionally, escalating tenant relation issues, and facilitating resident events. The position requires compliance with Fair Housing and Equal Housing Opportunities requirements, appropriate state landlord/tenant statutes, and attendance at training and development seminars.

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the United States
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of customer service and sales experience
• Reliable transportation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Demonstrates teamwork, good hygiene, ethical behavior and integrity, excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to multi-task, resolve conflicts, and ambition for continuous professional development

Responsibilities

• Advertise and promote the property
• Utilize industry specific software for lead management
• Provide tours to prospective and current residents
• Complete full cycle lease process with prospective residents
• Ensure compliance with renter’s insurance
• Maintain resident occupancy of 95%
• Ensure the timely collection of rent and other ancillary revenue
• Engage with your prospective and current tenants using a professional and courteous approach
• Escalate tenant relation issues to Property Manager
• Facilitate resident events
• Comply with all Fair Housing and Equal Housing Opportunities requirements
• Comply with appropriate state landlord/tenant statutes
• Attend training and development seminars
• Other duties as assigned by Property Manager
