About The Position

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for advertising and promoting the property, utilizing industry-specific software for lead management, providing tours to prospective and current residents, and completing the full lease cycle with prospective residents. This role also ensures compliance with renter's insurance, maintains resident occupancy of 95%, and ensures the timely collection of rent and other ancillary revenue. The Leasing Consultant will engage with prospective and current tenants professionally and courteously, escalate tenant relation issues to the Property Manager, and facilitate resident events. The position requires approximately 80% in an office environment using a computer and phone, and 20% inspecting property grounds, which may involve climbing stairs, ladders, and maneuvering walkways. The role also requires the ability to carry or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.

Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of customer service and sales experience
  • Reliable transportation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Demonstrates teamwork, good hygiene, ethical behavior and integrity, excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to multi-task, resolve conflicts, and ambition for continuous professional development

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate resident events

  • Comply with appropriate state landlord/tenant statutes
  • Attend training and development seminars
  • Other duties as assigned by Property Manager
