About The Position

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for advertising and promoting the property, utilizing industry-specific software for lead management, providing tours to prospective and current residents, and completing the full cycle lease process. This role also ensures compliance with renter's insurance, maintains resident occupancy of 95%, and ensures the timely collection of rent and other ancillary revenue. The position requires engaging with prospective and current tenants professionally and courteously, escalating tenant relation issues to the Property Manager, and facilitating resident events. The role involves approximately 80% in an office environment using a computer and phone, and 20% inspecting property grounds, which may require the ability to climb stairs, ladders, and maneuver walkways. The Leasing Consultant must also comply with all Fair Housing and Equal Housing Opportunities requirements, appropriate state landlord/tenant statutes, and attend training and development seminars.

Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of customer service and sales experience
  • Reliable transportation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Demonstrates teamwork, good hygiene, ethical behavior and integrity, excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to multi-task, and ambition for continuous professional development

Responsibilities

  • Advertise and promote the property
