About The Position

The Leasing Consultant provides information and onsite tours of the community with the intent to lease apartments to prospective residents. This role also provides customer service to existing residents to make a positive impact for the property. Key responsibilities include actively participating in leasing and marketing to maximize occupancy, touring the community, amenities, and vacant apartments with prospects, and maintaining current knowledge of apartment specifications, vacancies, notices, and rental rates. The consultant will courteously process resident communications, including service requests, by entering them into Yardi and communicating them to the Service Team. They are expected to meet and greet clients, prospects, and residents in a friendly and welcoming manner, always conforming to Fair Housing regulations.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years sales and customer service experience.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Competence in personal computer skills, Microsoft Office, (including Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in leasing and marketing of the community to maximize occupancy.
  • Tour community, amenities and vacant apartments with prospects and have current knowledge of apartment specifications, vacancies, notices, and rental rates.
