About The Position

The Leasing Consultant acts as the primary sales representative for the community. The role supports leasing and move-in goals by responding to leads, conducting tours, maintaining prospect follow-up, completing lease paperwork, and helping ensure apartments and community grounds are ready and maintained. The position is eligible for a $500 signing bonus and pays $19.12 per hour.

Requirements

Organizational and filing skills.
Knowledge of specific programs related to the property, including gathering and verifying documentation necessary to meet program compliance.

Nice To Haves

One year of practical experience in sales or customer relations.
Ability to communicate fluently in English and proficiency in another language, such as Spanish, Arabic, or Pashto.
Fair housing training.
Onesite software experience.

Responsibilities

Present a professional, friendly office atmosphere while greeting prospective and current residents.
Work generated leads to lease apartments and fulfill leasing and move-in goals.
Conduct tours of the community and specific apartments with prospective residents.
Maintain a consistent level of sales closings.
Complete guest cards, send thank-you notes, and follow up with every qualified prospect.
Qualify prospects according to Foundation Communities criteria.
Monitor local market trends and conditions, and update property comparables monthly.
Complete new and renewal lease paperwork and collect initial deposits, fees, and rental payments.
Inspect models and vacant units daily to ensure readiness.
Assist in keeping grounds clean and report community maintenance needs.
Follow other job-related instructions and perform duties reasonably assigned by the supervisor.
