About The Position

The Leasing Consultant is a key member of the on-site management team responsible for creating a positive first impression for all future residents, current residents, and visitors. This role combines sales, customer service, and administrative support to ensure the community operates smoothly and delivers an exceptional resident experience.   The ideal candidate is professional, personable, and highly organized—someone who enjoys helping others find their next home and takes pride in representing Marsh Properties with care and integrity.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with Marsh Properties standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and RealPage (OneSite) or similar software preferred.
  • Understanding of Fair Housing laws and commitment to compliance.
  • Weekend availability required (typically 2–3 Saturdays per month).

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with creative and communication platforms such as Canva, Knock, and AI-based tools used for marketing and resident engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage all visitors, residents, and vendors in a warm and professional manner.
  • Conduct apartment tours and present community features to future residents.
  • Convert inquiries and tours into leases by demonstrating product knowledge and value.
  • Process applications through a third-party screening provider, communicate approval status, and prepare lease documentation for execution.
  • Conduct move-in orientations and ensure apartments meet “market-ready” standards.
  • Maintain daily awareness of available units, pricing, and lease terms through RealPage OneSite.
  • Support renewal efforts through proactive communication and follow-up.
  • Uphold and adhere to all Fair Housing, ADA, and Marsh Properties policies.
  • Enter daily future resident traffic and leasing data into RealPage OneSite.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to online inquiries, and ensure timely communication with future residents.
  • Prepare move-in and renewal packets, notices, and correspondence.
  • Assist with resident communication via email, flyers, and community updates.
  • Participate in market surveys, competitor analysis, and community outreach activities.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives, social media engagement, and resident events.
  • Support office operations, filing, and reporting as assigned by the Property Manager or Assistant Manager.
  • Participate in planning and execution of resident events and community activities.
  • Represent Marsh Properties with professionalism in all interactions with residents, future residents, and vendors.
