About The Position

CAPREIT is seeking a Leasing Consultant for The Billie Apartments apartment community in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing excellent customer service to prospective residents, marketing the community, and assisting the Community Manager with administrative tasks. CAPREIT is a national property management company committed to a collaborative and supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in the multi-family housing industry.
• A valid driver’s license to operate company vehicle/golf cart
• Experience with specialized property management software (RealPage, OneSite, and/or Yardi), or the ability to learn such software
• A working knowledge of current technologies and Microsoft Office
• Ability to understand financial reports to include Profit and Loss Statements and General Ledgers
• A working knowledge of current technologies and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to prospective residents by planning and participating in marketing activities to attract prospective residents; greeting applicants, showcasing the community, and collecting applications; communicating the features and benefits of the community with potential residents.
• Assist the Community Manager by processing applications in a timely manner, taking resident phone calls, following up with prospective residents, and completing additional, on-going administrative functions of the community.
