The Leasing Consultant is responsible for the leasing of all apartments. This includes handling prospective resident phone calls, performing miscellaneous clerical duties, and supporting office personnel. The role requires maintaining a strong customer service philosophy, responding promptly to resident requests, and having a comprehensive understanding of lease documents and company policies. The position also involves assisting with resident retention programs, inspecting apartments for market readiness, and participating in leasing activities and resident relations. Additionally, the consultant must be aware of competitor pricing and amenities, community facts, and assist in market surveys. Responsibilities extend to greeting new residents, verifying application data, qualifying potential residents, showing model and available apartments, and coordinating community events. The role also includes completing in-house training to become a certified Leasing Specialist. Travel and occasional use of a personal vehicle may be required.
