About The Position

Fairmont Management Inc. is seeking an energetic, professional, and motivated Leasing Consultant to join our team at a large, 251-unit garden-style apartment community in West Covina. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering outstanding service while helping prospects find a place they’re excited to call home. You’ll also have the unique opportunity to lease newly renovated apartment homes and promote exciting upcoming amenity enhancements that will elevate the resident lifestyle experience throughout the community. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be the first impression of the community and play a vital role in creating an exceptional experience for both prospective and current residents. You’ll combine strong customer service skills with sales ability to showcase apartment homes, build relationships, and help drive occupancy at a community that is actively evolving and improving.

Requirements

  • Previous leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office
  • Weekend availability required

Nice To Haves

  • Property management experience is a plus, but not required for the right candidate

Responsibilities

  • Greet and tour prospective residents
  • Conduct follow-up calls, emails, and lead management
  • Showcase apartment homes and community amenities
  • Process applications and lease paperwork
  • Coordinate move-ins and ensure apartments are ready for residents
  • Maintain strong knowledge of pricing, availability, and market trends
  • Help achieve leasing and occupancy goals
  • Build positive relationships with current and prospective residents
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism and positivity
  • Respond to resident questions and concerns promptly
  • Assist with resident retention and renewal efforts
  • Help create a welcoming and engaging community atmosphere
  • Ensure leasing office, model units, and amenities are tour-ready
  • Assist in maintaining the appearance of common areas and amenities
  • Support marketing and advertising efforts
  • Utilize property management software accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate with maintenance team regarding service requests and apartment readiness
