About The Position

Sares Regis Group is seeking an experienced Leasing Consultant for our beautiful 303-unit community, 50 Jones! This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the property management industry! The role involves supervisory responsibilities, including hiring, developing, coaching, and evaluating a leasing team. The Leasing Consultant will also create, implement, and monitor marketing plans, shop competitors, analyze market conditions, and identify opportunities to maximize income. This position requires adherence to company policies and procedures, including operating within budget and setting leasing goals to meet occupancy and income targets.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated 1 year experience in sales and customer service experience a must.
  • Must have related property management experience.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must be an effective listener and communicator with the ability to work well on a team.
  • Ability to work weekends a must.
  • Supervisory experience a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Lease up experience preferred.
  • Yardi experience preferred.
  • Yardi CRM or similar platform preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise leasing consultants and other staff relative to community relations.
  • Hire and develop an effective leasing team, including setting goals, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees in conjunction with the community manager.
  • Write and deliver performance reviews.
  • Create, implement, adjust, and monitor the marketing plan, including inventory and updates to marketing collateral.
  • Shop competitors and inform management and subordinates of conditions in the marketplace.
  • Identify potential market challenges and develop a strong and reliable network of peers in the competitive marketplace.
  • Develop productive relationships with employers and other prospect sources in the marketplace.
  • Review daily rent recommendations and proactively identify opportunities to maximize income.
  • Operate within budget and set leasing goals to meet budgeted occupancy and income.
  • Read, follow, and implement the company and employee handbooks, property policy manuals, and any other governing documents.
