About The Position
As Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for marketing available suites, conducting property tours, qualifying prospective residents, and guiding applicants through the leasing process. You will thrive in an environment that delivers exceptional customer service, builds positive resident relationships, and contributes to the overall success and reputation of the community through professionalism, responsiveness, and strong sales skills. The successful candidate will have the skills to convert prospects into residents while minimizing vacancy loss and supporting resident retention initiatives. Compensation: Leasing Consultants are paid an annual salary + commission.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 + years of related sales experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills
- Functional knowledge of various Social Media tools and best practices.
- Have a dedication to providing and modeling “Best in Class” Service.
- Demonstrate capacity for collaboration, with ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced, matrixed and ambiguous environment.
- Be a self-motivated individual with a sense of urgency, a demonstrated work ethic and integrity.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and shift tasks quickly as well as to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills with the ability to influence leadership regarding proposed strategies.
- Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing needs.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- experience with Yardi is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Generate interest in the community by touring the property with prospects as you answer questions about the numerous amenities, local community and beautiful grounds.
- Manage your own success by attaining leasing goals, such as occupancy and rent growth, and building rapport with prospects and residents.
- Drive the sale by highlighting the quality of the community and the lifestyle of the available Rhapsody home.
- Assist prospects in qualifying for an apartment home by collecting appropriate information and initiating background checks
- Ensure apartments are prepared for move-in
- Deliver unmatched service to residents to exceed their expectations, while maintaining resident retention
- Coordinate paperwork related to apartment home rentals and other office activities using attention to detail, planning and organizing skills.
- Role is paid salary + commission
