The Leasing Consultant provides customer service to qualified leads, supports pre-leasing and resident communications, and leases apartments using available tools and resources. The role also supports other team members and works with the Community Manager on outreach to the local college and promotional events.

Success in this role involves following clear processes across lead generation, lead conversion, and customer fulfillment. The Leasing Consultant helps meet weekly pre-leasing goals toward an occupancy goal greater than 95%, achieves a renewal retention rate greater than 35%, and helps maintain monthly property delinquency below 1.5%. The company uses EOS and describes leaders as providing clear direction, tools, appropriate delegation, communication, effective meetings, quarterly or as-needed one-on-ones, and recognition of performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and stay connected with qualified leads.
• Assist with pre-leasing, including communicating with current and future residents.
• Participate in promotional events.
• Work with the Community Manager to build an appropriate relationship with the local college.
• Solve problems by overcoming objections.
• Lease apartments and use available tools and resources to close sales.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Help achieve weekly pre-leasing goals with an occupancy goal greater than 95%.
• Obtain a renewal retention rate greater than 35%.
• Effectively maintain a property delinquency rate below 1.5% per month.
