About The Position

CVG Properties is seeking an enthusiastic Leasing Consultant to join their team at Ascend at Red Mountain in Northeast Mesa. This role is ideal for someone with strong sales and customer service skills who wants to grow within the company, with a potential path to an Assistant Community Manager position. The Leasing Professional is the first point of contact for residents and prospects, responsible for marketing, leasing, resident retention, and ensuring a positive living environment. The role involves showing apartments, assisting residents, renewing leases, conducting property walks, market research, and utilizing Yardi software. Additional projects and responsibilities may be assigned, with opportunities for growth into assistant manager-level duties.

Requirements

1 year of property management experience preferred, or comparable work in a service-related industry
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
The ability to work well in a high-volume and sometimes stressful environment
A positive attitude and the desire to learn and develop your skills
High school diploma
Customer service or sales background
Commitment and desire to work with people in a diverse environment
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends

Nice To Haves

Any property management or sales experience is a plus, but strong customer service, a desire to work with people, and a hunger to learn and grow are more important
Interest in growing into an Assistant Community Manager role is a big plus

Responsibilities

Overseeing daily site operations, marketing and leasing of the community, collections, resident retention, and customer service.
Ensuring community maintenance, contracted services, community safety, and legal compliance.
Showing and leasing available apartments.
Assisting current residents and providing outstanding customer service.
Renewing existing leases.
Conducting regular curb-appeal and site walks to keep the property looking its best for prospects and residents.
Conducting market research and assisting with business outreach marketing, resident functions, and other promotional programs.
Utilizing Yardi software to enter information and run various reports.
Taking on additional projects and/or duties as assigned by the Community Manager.
