About The Position

Village Green is seeking a Leasing Consultant for an immediate opening at Brixin at Magnolia Heights Townhomes in Urbandale, IA. This role is crucial to our property management operations, where you will assist prospective residents in finding their ideal homes and provide exceptional customer service to current tenants. You will quickly identify and assess the needs of prospective residents to match them with suitable apartment homes, conduct property tours highlighting community features, and develop long-lasting relationships with current residents by addressing their needs and concerns promptly. The position involves managing the entire leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing and move-in coordination, achieving and exceeding sales targets through effective lead generation and follow-up strategies. You will also collaborate with the property management team, maintain accurate records, participate in community events and marketing initiatives, and stay informed about local market trends and competitor offerings.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of sales experience
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and property management software
  • Customer service-oriented with a passion for helping people find their ideal home
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively
  • In-depth knowledge of local real estate market trends and regulations
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some evenings
  • Reliable transportation
