About The Position

The Leasing Consultant will be responsible for engaging with prospects, processing applications, handling resident and prospect concerns, preparing various property-related documents, conducting property tours, maintaining office cleanliness, collecting rent, preparing units, conducting market surveys, and providing backup for the Senior Leasing Consultant. This role also involves attending weekly meetings with the Property Manager and Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities

Connect with prospect during initial contact
Gather paperwork, verify income, run screening, process rental verification, send move-in letter, and secure guarantor application (if needed)
Field resident and prospect concerns by taking calls, responding to email, and entering requests into Rent Manager
Prepare property collateral packets (brochure, applications, map, business card, etc.)
Prepare move-in documents including keys
Prepare lease renewal paperwork
Give property tours to prospective tenants
Maintain general cleanliness in the office
Collect rent checks
Sparkle units
Conduct Quarterly Market Surveys
Backup for Senior Leasing Consultant
Attend weekly meeting with Property Manager and Assistant Manager
