About The Position

Come join the Weigand-Omega Team for this exciting opportunity. We are looking to add a Leasing Agent with our team. To lease apartments while maintaining a strong customer service/satisfaction philosophy. To work with and assist the Residential Manager in the general administration of the property and perform related leasing, operational, administrative, and bookkeeping functions. Courteous and helpful behavior to residents and potential residents is essential. Requirements

  • Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a variety of practical situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may occasionally call for minor deviations.
  • Ability to think rationally beyond a specific set of instructions.
  • Capability to work at a fast pace and with multiple tasks, perform duties while under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Interact/communicate with other site employees, residents, visitors, and the public in a professional and pleasant manner.
  • Legible penmanship and accurate typing skills.
  • Ability to correctly deal with lease documents, fill out paperwork, and keep accurate records.
  • Ability to work with figures and make bank deposits.
  • Ability to compute rental amounts, prorates, discounts, percentages, and basic math computations.
  • Capability to operate fax/copy machine, vacuum, telephone, typewriter, calculator, and to be computer literate or willing to be trained.
  • Good customer service skills and ability to resolve resident, prospect, and vendor problems.
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license and valid auto liability insurance.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have a phone where you can be reached.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
  • Prior apartment leasing and/or sales experience preferred.
