About The Position

This position is primarily responsible for answering and fielding phone calls, greeting customers and guests, and performing various types of data analysis. Supports the Area Managers by coordinating leasing activity and processing rental applications. Follows up with applicants and communicates negotiations as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • Two to four years related experience or equivalent
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office suite, Craigslist, and Facebook
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
  • Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

Responsibilities

  • Answers phones and directs to proper personnel
  • Provides information on our rentals to callers and visitors
  • Set, confirm, and follow up on showing appointments for our listed units
  • Solicits the waiting list with new units that become available for lease. Prepares customized emails based on the parameters of units that are available
  • Communicates with applicants regarding application status.
  • Provides accurate information on our rentals to callers and visitors.
  • Ensure guest cards are complete, entered into AppFolio and follow up is completed for all prospects.
  • Accumulates traffic information from various sources and prepares a consolidated report.
  • Audits tenant files
  • Provides clerical support to the office staff as needed
  • Assists the Manager by accumulating leasing and traffic information by preparing consolidated reports as well as other duties as needed
  • Assists the Property Manager as needed
