About The Position

National Development is looking for an experienced Property Manager for a brand new, lease-up apartment community located in Belmont, MA. As a Lease Up Property Manager, your primary responsibilities include leading by example, inspiring the team to achieve occupancy and retention goals, managing the financial performance of the properties, and effectively managing time between multiple assets. You will also coach team members, create financial and operational reports, cultivate strong relationships with constituents, and be an expert on the competitive marketplace. Partnering with the internal marketing group to develop strategies, creating an operating environment that assures consistent guest satisfaction, and inspiring professional growth and development of team members are also key aspects of this role. Supporting participation in training and educational opportunities is also expected.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in property management
Experience in managing a lease up
Experience in low and moderate income programs
A track record of success building, developing and retaining high-performing teams
A track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, investors, ownership groups and vendors
Experience managing a budget and/or P&L
Proficiency with industry software (YARDI), apps and computer programs
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice To Haves

Experience with a Revenue Management software platform (AIRM preferred)
