About The Position

Wood is currently recruiting for a Lease Operator in Three Rivers, Tilden, George West, TX on a 5/2 schedule. Wood offers health benefits, 401k, vacation and more. Candidate responsible for well operations, gas lifted wells, ESP's, three phase separation and compressor operations. Candidates must live within a 60 mile radius or willing to relocate with no assistance/have a travel trailer. Non-Rotational position. No Lodging or Per Diem provided. Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.

Requirements

3-5+ years direct experience with oil and gas production practices, equipment and terminology
Valid driver’s license
Ability to utilize laptop PC and applicable software programs
Work in temperature extremes or adverse weather conditions
Work in several different geographic locations each day
Climb heights up to 24 feet to gauge tanks
Walk, bend, stoop and lift
Willing to work weekends and be on call
Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required

Responsibilities

Prepares for and performs maintenance, taking readings, doing rounds, issuing work permits, following procedures, initiating work requests, writing procedures, and interfacing with support groups.
Pro-actively monitors well and equipment performance, take appropriate action to maximize production.
Works with support groups to optimize chemical pump rates based on production data (corrosion, paraffin, soap injection, etc.).
Operate and optimize Artificial Lift Systems such as: wellhead compression, capillary strings, foamed injection, gas lifts and flow case equipment, Dehys, Ultrafab, heater treaters 2-3 phase separators, gas lift, plunger lift, compressors
Interfaces with Engineering for data gathering requests.
