About The Position

As a Lease Operator II, you will be responsible for monitoring, optimizing, and operating wells and associated surface equipment including pumps, natural gas compressors, pumping units, valves, tanks, and other vessels. This role helps maintain a safe work environment for the company. A successful candidate must have a deep understanding of oil and gas and be capable of troubleshooting various production systems.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Valid US Driver's License with acceptable driving record
Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
Must live within 50 miles of Sweeny, TX.

Nice To Haves

4+ years of Lease Operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitoring and optimization of all production and injection wells, including all process variables.
Ensuring all production equipment is operating at peak reliability and efficiency.
Acquiring and storing data.
Supporting health, environment, and safety processes by accomplishing daily activities within applicable regulations and policies.
Carrying out duties in an environmentally conscious manner and following safe operating practices.
Operating, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining oil and gas production equipment.
Performing duties associated with oil and gas producing operations, including plunger lift wells, process equipment, compression, dehydration, etc.
Optimizing artificial lift systems.
Testing wells.
Acquiring fluid level information.
Record keeping and data input.
Monitoring computer control systems.
Testing safety devices.
Operating and monitoring SCADA.
Partnering with other employees and contractors to ensure all equipment is operating at peak efficiency.
Utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management System to create work orders for inventory and work planning/prioritization.
Assuring all work performed adheres to customer's operational excellence standards and regulatory requirements.
Driving on a routine basis.
Other duties as assigned.
