About The Position

The Lease Operator I is responsible for the safe, efficient daily operation of the company’s natural gas system. This entry-level role receives training to perform troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and equipment start-up activities.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Competency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook required.
Must be able to perform simple daily tasks with hand tools.
Must have valid driver’s license.
A steady work history and strong work-ethic
Goal driven/forward thinking
Ability to learn and retain task knowledge

Nice To Haves

Oilfield experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Travel to assigned locations to gather, record, and report relevant information, including gauges, fluids, pressures, production, and related operational data, in an accurate and consistent manner.
Inspect locations for leaks, spills, and potential issues.
Notify immediate supervisor promptly of relevant issues or significant production loss.
Ensure proper reporting of production and downtime.
Maintain proper production rate throughout the system.
Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health and Safety requirements.
Effectively communicate with land owners to maintain a productive relationship.
Once fully trained, troubleshoot, repair, and correct issues as necessary.
Record daily production and process all paperwork, inspections, timecards, and expense reports in a timely manner.
Follow all company and regulatory agency rules and regulations.
Respond timely to unscheduled callouts outside of normal business hours when required.
Perform all other duties required for which the employee is qualified and trained.
