About The Position

Foot Locker, Inc. is hiring a Lease Compliance Analyst to join their team. This hybrid position will be located at their Corporate Office in Camp Hill, PA, with an expected in-office schedule of three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). The Lease Analyst is responsible for performing lease compliance reviews for charges related to Common Area Maintenance (CAM), real estate taxes, landlord utilities, and waste management. This involves auditing landlord billings against lease obligations to ensure accuracy and compliance. The role will facilitate payment or proper accrual of corresponding expense obligations. Additionally, the position will collaborate with the NY Real Estate team to streamline lease language and understand requirements and costs. This role supports special projects such as landlord account reconciliations, tax projects, providing information to internal Real Estate Deal Makers, and other projects focused on ensuring lease compliance and reducing expenses.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent from college or trade school, or 6 months related experience and/or training
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Ability to read and understand lease language preferred but not required
  • Experience with completing reconciliations is a plus
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
  • Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Demonstrate experience working independently as well as in a team environment
  • Must be able to work well with fellow associates and be an integral part of the team

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all changes are in compliance with the lease and are in line with internally established thresholds
  • Run queries to extract information from our PeopleSoft Accounting and Lucernex systems
  • Review and reconcile landlord billings/statements to actual payments made
  • Ensure that all appropriate reviews and approvals are obtained for all Yearly Escrow Reconciliation payments
  • Communicate with landlords via phone and written correspondence
  • Ensure open lines of communication exist with all Real Estate areas
