About The Position

As a Lease Accounting/ Project Costing Analyst you will be responsible for lease accounting CAM reconciliations for specified brands which drives impact across the Yum! business through working with assigned brands. You would play an active role in the month end processing for Lease Accounting and Project Costing, the opportunities are endless: work closely with Accounting Services, landlords and vendors. The Lease Accounting/Project Costing Analyst will report to the Lease Accounting Manager. You will be required to attend the Louisville, KY office three days per week (Tuesday - Thursday).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other Finance related are preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in lease accounting and reconciling accounts.
  • General accounting experience is acceptable.
  • Strong systems and software aptitude (JD Edwards, Oracle and Reports Now helpful).
  • Strong analytical skills and immediate to advanced Excel skills are necessary.
  • Effective written and oral communications skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.

  • CAM Audits and Reconciliations
  • Impound adjustments
  • Office and Warehouse Admin
  • 3rd Party Sublease Recons
  • Daily reports and mail processing
  • Other general Landlord rent related issues for Master leases, Subleases and 3rd party losses
  • HBG & TBC Facility Capex Upload
  • Retire necessary assets when Capex projects are completed - Project Costing Analysts will identify and the Lease/PC analyst complete the process in JDE
  • iPayables – Monitor and Process invoices for payment
  • Error Recycle for miscoded invoices and EC Errors in JDE
  • Review Projects > $25k and Budget Overrun Report
