The Learning Specialist supports the design, development, and delivery of provider training and learning activities for rural health system transformation initiatives. This role contributes to the development of learning materials, training curricula, and facilitation strategies supporting both individualized and group-based technical assistance. The specialist designs and develops training content across various formats, including webinars, toolkits, job aids, and self-paced learning resources, applying adult learning theory and human-centered design principles to ensure content is accessible, relevant, and actionable for provider audiences. They will support the implementation of learning collaboratives and training sessions by coordinating materials, facilitating sessions, and managing participant engagement, as well as assist in tracking participation, feedback, and learning outcomes. The role involves coordinating with technical assistance teams, SMEs, and program leadership to align content with provider needs and program goals, and supports the continuous improvement of training materials based on feedback and performance data. Additionally, the Learning Specialist contributes to the maintenance of training platforms, resource libraries, and learning management tools supporting statewide provider engagement. Candidates must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with colleagues, clients, subcontractors, recipients, and communities served. Ideal candidates will have a solid grounding in health service delivery, rural health, and experience working in and with rural and tribal populations. Spanish, Pueblo, Apache, or Navajo language is welcome but not required. Up to 25% travel may be required.
