About The Position

Florida SouthWestern State College is seeking a Learning Resource Teacher for its Lee Collegiate High School team. This position supports diverse learners and ensures compliance with state and federal requirements. The role involves direct student support, collaboration with teachers and families, and management of ESE services, IEPs, 504 plans, and ELL requirements. This is a 196-duty day position on an annual contract.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in Education or a related field.
• Valid Florida teaching certificate with ESE endorsement (or ability to obtain).
• Experience working with IEPs, 504 plans, and ELL compliance.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports diverse learners at FSW Collegiate High School.
• Ensures full compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Provides direct support to students.
• Collaborates closely with teachers and families.
• Oversees all processes related to ESE services, IEPs, 504 plans, and ELL requirements.
