About The Position

Visa University (VU) is Visa’s learning and development organization. The Manager, Learning Design is an individual contributor on a team evolving learning design and delivery for Visa’s Sales & Client Services Learning team. The role works across business priorities, experiments with AI and emerging learning technologies, and creates experiences extending beyond traditional courses into practice, reinforcement, and performance support. The manager designs and develops high-quality learning experiences, independently manages assigned projects, and collaborates with Learning Partners, subject matter experts, cross-functional teams, and vendors to strengthen learner knowledge, skills, and performance. The role calls for strong instructional design craft, curiosity, sound judgment, and a collaborative, consultative approach. The successful candidate uses generative AI and emerging technologies to accelerate and expand learning design work while applying human judgment to design decisions. The role requires at least three days in the office; the specific days will be confirmed by the Hiring Manager. Work hours vary with departmental needs, and travel is required 5–10% of the time. The position is performed in an office setting and involves sitting and standing at a desk, communicating in person and by telephone, and frequently operating standard office equipment such as telephones and computers. Applicants may be asked to share a portfolio during recruiter screening.
