About The Position

Digital Moment is seeking a senior Learning Experience Designer to help bring their learning content into a new era. This role involves designing applied AI education and translating in-person learning experiences into effective self-paced digital learning on their platform. The anchor project is to design and produce a 40-hour applied AI apprenticeship course, starting with building a modular, competency-based AI curriculum system. The role also includes converting existing content into digital experiences and originating new content for audiences such as parents, small businesses, and seniors. This is a senior individual contributor role requiring autonomy and content origination skills.

  • Demonstrated experience converting in-person training into digital and e-learning formats.
  • Experience designing modular, competency-based curricula or learning systems.
  • A portfolio of learning artifacts (course modules, facilitator guides, e-learning experiences, assessment tools, or equivalent).
  • Credible working proficiency with current AI tools and concepts (LLMs, generative AI tools, no-code/low-code applications, prompting, data literacy, and responsible AI) deep enough to author an applied AI course.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, engaging, everyday language.
  • Content creation and writing strength; ability to originate new material.
  • Experience designing for adult and informal learners (self-directed, time-constrained, motivation-driven).
  • Experience designing for or working with diverse and underserved learners; experience with marginalized, vulnerable, or NEET youth is a strong asset.
  • Senior individual contributor: self-directed, resourceful, comfortable owning outcomes with autonomy.
  • Collaborative with product teams; comfortable designing within platform and technical constraints.
  • Ability to bring colleagues along by demonstrating value.
