About The Position

The Learning & Development designs and operates training systems that prepare employees for safe startup, technical proficiency, leadership, and sustained performance with a high degree of independence and technical leadership. The role works across HPLS functions and external partners to deliver safe, compliant, timely, and sustainable results during project execution and ongoing operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of relevant professional experience; level and scope will be calibrated to demonstrated capability.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, analyze information, document work, and collaborate across functions.
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft 365 and job-relevant enterprise or technical systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English and work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Learning and development experience in manufacturing, skilled trades, construction, or technical operations.
  • Experience with instructional design, LMS administration, apprenticeship, community-college, or workforce-development partnerships.
  • CPTD, SHRM, ATD, instructional-design, or training credential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the company’s overall training system and programs.
  • Develop pre-employment training programs for technical positions.
  • Develop and manage post-hire training and employee development programs.
  • Assess enterprise, technical, compliance, and leadership-development needs.
  • Design curricula, learning paths, competency models, qualification standards, and training calendars.
  • Coordinate pre-employment and post-hire programs with operations, engineering, safety, educational partners, and vendors.
  • Develop instructor guides, participant materials, assessments, practical demonstrations, and training records.
  • Select and administer learning technology, providers, budgets, facilities, and logistics.
  • Measure participation, proficiency, transfer of learning, and business impact and improve programs accordingly.
