Important Information: This position is a maternity cover role with a fixed-term contract running until November 30, 2026. Do you like to work with leaders to solve their business problems? Are you passionate about developing people? As a Learning & Development Coordinator, you will be instrumental in building a pipeline of future representatives for Caterpillar. This position assists in Caterpillar’s formal development and recruiting program for entry and mid-level Machine and Engine, Aftermarket, Sales and Service Representatives in the Europe Africa Middle East region. Learning & Development Coordinator supports the design and leads the implementation and support of people and organizational development initiatives and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the organization of a 10–12-week training program, called MTC bedrock, across different countries.
  • Focus on Employee Experience, ensuring participants can get optimal learning outcomes.
  • Attend the MTC bedrock and assist with implementing continuous improvement to program and its delivery.
  • Administer, coordinate, and track the Pre-field marketing representatives during their rotational assignments; assist and coordinate the visa requests.
  • Potentially support the recruiting and hiring of between 15 to 30 new marketing representatives each year. This requires coordination of in-office interviews, career fairs, and initial resume screening
  • Responsibility for organizing and executing ad-hoc trainings of 1 to 2 weeks at a time throughout the year.
  • Support the mass-enrolment to other third-party training sessions for the whole company.
