About The Position

The Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator will play a key role in driving the execution of L&D initiatives and projects across the organization. This individual will act as the project manager for all departmental efforts, helping to ensure alignment, timely progress, and clear communication among stakeholders. In addition to project coordination responsibilities, this role will support the development and creation of training content, with a focus on high-quality presentation design for internal and external audiences.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in learning & development, project management, or corporate communications.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills required; ability to create polished, brand-aligned presentations from scratch.
  • Familiarity with the project management tool required, Smartsheet or Asana (preferred)
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and high-accountability environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (Docebo preferred) and learning delivery platforms is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management & Departmental Coordination
  • Serve as the primary project manager for L&D initiatives, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables stay on track.
  • Collaborate with L&D department leads to scope new projects, define responsibilities, and align on realistic timelines.
  • Attend strategic initiative meetings and represent the L&D department as needed to capture action items and follow up on tasks.
  • Track and monitor the progress of ongoing projects; maintain detailed documentation and regular status reports.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications related to training initiatives, program updates, and content rollouts.
  • Identify and escalate potential risks or bottlenecks that could delay progress or affect quality.
  • Content Creation & Presentation Support
  • Support the creation and design of training materials including presentations, visual aids, templates, and worksheets.
  • Design and refine PowerPoint decks for use in webinars, live workshops, internal team needs, and large-scale events such as the Franchise Convention and Owner’s Summit.
  • Apply brand standards and instructional design best practices to all content to ensure consistency, clarity, and impact.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to translate complex information into engaging, easy-to-understand visuals and slides.
