The Division of Academic Affairs is seeking an Instructional Designer/Technologist III to serve as a Learning Designer. This role applies extensive expertise in online design theory, learning theory, and practices to ensure the design and facilitation of accessible, inclusive, and equity-minded online learning experiences at the course and program level. In collaboration with the Teaching & Learning Innovations team, the Learning Designer will contribute to the design, development, and facilitation of courses, programs, and resources to support faculty in designing, developing, and teaching online, blended, and digitally mediated courses. The role involves consulting with academic programs interested in blended and online learning, creating and facilitating training, workshops, templates, and design guides, and expanding an online community for faculty focused on innovation in teaching and learning. Additionally, the Learning Designer will develop and manage online teaching and learning quality assurance processes.
