About The Position

Are you an educator, leader, or customer-service professional who loves helping people reach their goals? As a Learning Center Director at Huntington Learning Center, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students while developing your leadership, communication, and business skills. You'll lead the day-to-day operation of the center, work directly with students and families, coach and support instructors, and make sure every student receives a program designed around their individual needs. For nearly 50 years, Huntington Learning Center has helped students build academic skills, confidence, and motivation. Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
3+ years of experience in education, tutoring, customer service, management, or a related field.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A genuine desire to help students succeed.
Confidence working with parents and discussing student needs and appropriate program recommendations.
A positive, energetic, and solutions-oriented approach.
Ability to lead and motivate a team.

Nice To Haves

Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Lead student programming: Review student performance and progress toward academic goals. Ensure each student's program is aligned with their individual learning needs. Monitor student engagement and make instructional adjustments when needed. Work directly with students and provide tutoring support when needed.
Partner with families: Meet regularly with parents to discuss student progress, goals, and recommendations. Help families understand their child's academic needs and the steps that can support continued growth. Build strong, long-term relationships with families based on trust and results.
Lead and support instructors: Supervise and coach part-time instructors to help them succeed. Help teachers deliver high-quality instruction and maintain a positive learning environment.
Run the learning center: Oversee daily center operations, including scheduling, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative responsibilities. Help maintain an organized, welcoming, and productive center environment. Take ownership of center performance and the student and family experience.
Build community relationships: Develop relationships with local schools, teachers, and community organizations. Help increase awareness of Huntington's programs and the results we achieve for our students.
