About The Position

Huntington Learning Center is looking for a Learning Center Coordinator & Tutor to join their team. This role is ideal for an organized, energetic professional who enjoys working with children and families and wants a role where their work makes a meaningful difference. The position involves creating an exceptional experience for students and families while ensuring the center runs smoothly. Responsibilities include student support, tutoring, family communication, scheduling, teacher support, and day-to-day center operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
• At least one year of tutoring, teaching, or comparable experience working directly with students required.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, and similar technology.
• Genuinely enjoy working with children and helping them learn and grow.

Nice To Haves

• Education, administrative, customer service, or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome students and families and provide exceptional customer service.
• Communicate with families by phone, email, and text.
• Monitor students' progress and overall experience at the center.
• Help create a positive, encouraging learning environment.
• Tutor students one-on-one across multiple grade levels and subject areas.
• Administer academic evaluations for new students.
• Support students in building academic skills, confidence, and motivation.
• Assist teachers and help onboard and train new instructors.
• Coordinate daily and weekly student and teacher schedules.
• Manage calendars, appointments, Zoom meetings, and other administrative tasks.
• Process payments, invoices, and payroll tracking.
• Keep the center organized and running efficiently.
• Support marketing and community outreach efforts.
