About The Position

The Super Pollutant Action Alliance (SPAA) is a new and growing organization focused on reducing super pollutants, which contribute significantly to climate change but receive insufficient global attention and funding. Reducing these pollutants, such as methane, tropospheric ozone, and black carbon, is crucial for limiting near-term temperature increases and offers co-benefits like improved air and water quality, enhanced food production, and saving lives. SPAA operates as a philanthropic collaborative, backed by leading climate foundations, with the mission to catalyze and expand effective super pollutant reduction efforts. The organization aims to develop thought leadership, implement targeted philanthropic interventions, and convene stakeholders to enhance the field's overall impact. A key aspect of SPAA's strategy is a robust approach to learning and impact, generating actionable evidence to understand and communicate progress, inform future efforts, and guide strategic direction. The Learning and Impact Manager will play a pivotal role in operationalizing the learning infrastructure for this catalytic funder, shaping how the organization learns, adapts, and accelerates impact in an emerging and critical field.
