About The Position

The Kettering Co-op Student supports departmental projects and day-to-day operations by applying academic knowledge in a professional environment. Working under the guidance of experienced team members, the student gains hands-on experience while contributing to engineering, IT, manufacturing, or business initiatives. This role provides students with practical industry experience while contributing to Lear's business objectives and innovation efforts.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in Kettering University's Cooperative Education Program.
  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Support team projects, assignments, and operational activities.
  • Assist with data analysis, documentation, reporting, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.
