Upon hire, onboarding and training will be held at our facilities in Blaine or Anoka, MN until the Lexington facility opens. Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment, such as an operator, assembler, technician, team lead, or similar hands-on production role.
• Ability to observe processes, identify opportunities, and contribute practical solutions that improve performance.
• Strong collaboration skills and a desire to work closely with production teams on the manufacturing floor.
• Interest in learning Lean tools and applying them to real-world business challenges.
• Computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
• A proactive mindset, strong curiosity, and a desire to learn, improve processes, and help teams succeed.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to Lean or continuous improvement concepts such as 5S, Kaizen, standard work, visual management, or daily improvement activities preferred.
• Advanced functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help drive a culture of continuous improvement by partnering with business areas to implement Future State Plans and improvement initiatives.
• Work directly with production teams, supervisors, engineers, and site leaders to identify opportunities that improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and employee experience.
• Apply Lean principles and tools to support system and process improvements, including: Standard Work, Ergonomics, SMED, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping, 5S.
• Help prioritize improvement opportunities based on business needs, including growth, safety, quality, delivery, cost, and cash flow.
• Support Lean Kaizen events by helping coordinate activities, preparing materials, documenting action items, and supporting teams through implementation.
• Conduct process observations and reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and help create or revise standardized work procedures.
• Encourage employee involvement and engagement by gathering feedback and supporting open communication throughout improvement initiatives.
• Track and communicate project progress, key learnings, and results to teams.
• Receive coaching and mentorship from Continuous Improvement leaders while building practical experience with Lean manufacturing tools and methodologies.
